OUR CLIENTS SAY...

What is REIKI?

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes general well-being and healing. The term comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” which means vital life force energy that flows through all living things.

Reiki is used all over the world in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and in private practices to aid in healing by helping people become energetically balanced physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

What are the benefits of receiving Reiki?

According to the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine, people use Reiki for relaxation, stress reduction, symptom and pain relief, and to improve overall health and well-being.

How is Reiki different from massage?

  • uses energy to release tension in the body, unlike deep tissue massage

  • can be performed on injured or painful areas because of the gentle touch

  • you remain fully clothed during a Reiki session

  • often provides a deeper sense of relaxation, both physically and mentally
